Coming out of a musical prelude that is more dark and magical, this song is a celebration of how love can bring you out of your shell and help to give you a much needed push in the right direction.

At the same time it is also about being a much needed shoulder for the one who has inspired you because their own life has not been going so well. In a nutshell it's about helping each other and how much you can accomplish together instead of just by yourself.

A positive look at making the right sorts of changes in life, as the song itself states, "I Threw a Pebble in the Ocean...Watched the Ripples Turn To Waves"

The song, including the musical prelude that is on the track before, was recorded in one long take while both playing guitar and singing. I did this with many of the songs on this album with very few overdubs in other songs. At the time it was the easiest and most productive way that i could accomplish my goal of getting the album done while also putting me on the spot to capture a good live performance.
