Walls of Illusion

I wrote this song to try to describe my own process of songwriting from a behind the scenes look. Songwriting is a very solitary and personal experience that leads to self discovery. I tried to illustrate what takes place with me, as a songwriter and how that inspiration begins.

Many have told me that upon hearing this song for the first time, they drew the conclusion that it was a religious song. I did not write it with that intention but the beauty of a good song is that it can mean so many different things to so many different people.
